Deacon Pat is husband, father and grandfather to some of God's most interesting creatures. Having served in Church ministry for the past 20 years, he served the previous 26 years as an officer with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.  

Dcn. Pat is assigned to St. Mary Catholic Parish on the Eastside of Kalamazoo. The parish is known for its rich liturgy in both the Ordinary Form (English) and Extraordinary Form (Latin). Our families are the bulwark of parish life.  

St. Mary's builds relationships with its Eastside neighbors, a diverse urban community.  St. Mary's provides services and partners with our neighbors in dealing with poverty, food insecurity, youth and neighborhood development. Parish grounds and facilities have become a major center for the Eastside community.  

St. Mary's hospitality is found in being a witness to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
